This picture definitely attracts attention, as it has something intriguing going on. The mind wants to know what it is seeing.

The lighting adds mystery with its darkness yet colours the rose nicely. The level of detail in the water droplets both on the rose and in the air is extraordinary. Your technique seems to be flawless here. At least I can't find anything wrong with it.

My main problem with this picture is that the eye doesn't really know where it is supposed to focus. On the rose which is the only thing in colour and consists of concentric circles (the rose petals) that lead the eye to its center, or on the mushroom of water where the line through the rose and up the water seems to go to. Also, what is both intriguing and a little annoying is that it's really hard to figure out what exactly is happening with the water. It's not at all obvious how the flow of water has been created. On the one hand this lets the viewer think, on the other hand... it frustrates me that I can't figure out!

In essence, well done!
