Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactFirst, we're in front of a photo based on romantically apocaliptic, and the first think you should notice is the color pattern, logically set to reflect the tones of the webcomic, a definite plus on my book.
While Mr. Snippy has a sense of movement, Ze Captain is... well... Ze Captain, completly ovblious to his surroundings, a notorious point that says the author is a regular reader of the comic. Presentation suits the theme and exploits it, focusing with no real problems on the characters and using the background as just some help for the overall composition. While the background is not the normal setup of the webcomic (post apocaliptic city) the decolored situation changes the overall feeling of the winter woods to its favour.
