The forest sparkled, as the tiny drops of mist refracted in the air, slowly freezing, in the cold grip of passing winter.
Willow trees moved left and right, in a gentle dance, as the wind coming from the lake pulled at their hands.
What could lie ahead, out there, behind the thick veil of blue mist, along the silver road onward?

Days like this can be, as this is, so heartbreakingly gorgeous. I still remember a similar morning, in late Fall, just as the sun turned the whole view to pure silver through the fog.
