I bowed to the horned god, asking it for passage,
For in this city of the ancients, where time stood still, any travelers that steered from the path, were known to have been consumed by the invisible demons... their hair falling out, possibly from the horror of what they've seen. Here, even in spring, autumn and winter persisted- some trees leaf-less and some eternally orange in their colors, a strange and wondrous sight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This piece represents this new year for me, an emergence from the darkness of eternal winter into a new spring.
