---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Painting project piece (# 2): installation and traditional painting. Size: central canvas around 5x9 feet Sides (sketched directly on the wall): around 9x20 feet Medium: acrylic paint, charcoal, marker, and chalk. The "lit-up window" effect is achieved with a projector with an overlay of grass and leaves on the sides. The bottom: a "constructed" log littered with grass and plants, surrounded by a thick layer of autumn leaves on the floor. This piece was completed in 2 months with the help of my apprentice Milena C. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
