In class assignment to use traditional mediums such as pencils, acrylics, etc to make an illustration inspired by a specific song + refine in Photoshop.
The song is "Curse of Millhaven" you can listen to it here:

Drawing time: two weeks
What it is: combo of pencil work, acrylic, marker, photography and digital painting.
Hardware used: pencil, paintbrush, Wacom Intuos 6x8 tablet and Canon Digital Rebel
Real size: 12x12 inches
References: a little street I saw on my trip to Moscow

Also this has a magical curvy "illusion" effect. If you stare at it long enough, the smoke will actually feel like it's moving a bit and everything else will seem wider than it is.

Now it's a CD cover for a band Revengeance.

the hand clashes a lot with the white part on the girls shirt making it look as if her hands bigger than it really is. Dunno if that was your intention but I don't think so? Other than that its a great work, a lot of detail like always :) And the facial expression is very realistic. Although another thing, are the cars suppose to look flat? were you trying to make it look as if the total image was around her as if it was a thought? Or a photograph? if so, thats great!
