FAKEH MAILWARES

A MOST BOOBISH ad provider has included code in their advertisements that creates something that triggers Google's Malware filter THAT IS CURRENTLY BREAKING OUR HOST`S WEBSITE.

It's fortunately not actually malware, but it triggers as such on websites that have those advertisements.
IF YOU ENCOUNTER SUCH ON ROM.AC SITE: romanticallyapocalyptic.com/
SIMPLY
Click Advanced > Proceed, at you own risk

I tried loading the site with Adblocker (chrome, and I don't normally use it) and I wasn't given any false alarms o.o

I'm totally at wits end over this crap, I had my 5th episode already to go, and everyone I sent to my site saw the same Malware warning. (I've got a code insertion, but I can't find where it is) Exploding Goats!

Strangely, this happened to something in word press, on the eve of the new WIX website builder (with a crazy big advertising budget.) going online. Curious timing.

I was wondering what was going on with that.
A lot of the webcomics I read are affected by that right now, and it was really confusing me.

I thought that was mean for the "FIREWALL" thing in the newest comic page. Anyway, they should solve this soon. But still, that pretty much coincident .....

That ... stinks. Good to know, though. Is it an AdSense ad? If so, it's probably up on my site too. And causing problems.

Well what would you call "Trojan Horse Generic_r.CEN"...Because I've been getting that all week according to my AVG Anti-Virus

If it's real, how would you get rid of it

Uninstall AVG, install Microsoft Security Essentials. Scan... If it fails then download Malware bytes free version and run a scan in failsafe mode (press F8 on startup). I always do this when feeling paranoid :D

For more info, something happened with Hiveworks apparently, involving someone adding code whose sole purpose was to trip Google's malware stuff. Suffice to say it's been fixed on their end, they're just waiting for Google to recognize that.

Sure, you say it's harmless now, but next thing we know we'll have popups of Romantic Apocalyptic things coming up while we're trying to do homework or watching adult-oriented material.

I'm okay with this, now that I think about it.

Ah It seems to have been fixed.
I noticed it first when it wouldn't even let me on your dA page and then the actual RA website. It worked fine when I went through my phone (I'm guessing because ads don't show up there?) I'm just glad the message is gone and there wasn't any serious threat.

Yeah, I thought something was up when Chrome started screaming about malware and banging its head against the wall.

I knew all along that zee captein would never intentionally expose his minions to evil computer gnomes!
