Yeah, it was a misunderstanding in my part... sorry for that... Still I've read the explanation that deviant gave regarding that and they said that they had to place the advertising, and if you didn't want it you should buy a sub...
The problem, I think, is that this doesn't affect only the non-sub members... I mean even if you have a sub that only applies in how you see the deviations... not how your deviations are seen. I know that many members use deviant to promote themselves and this could affect them too I think...
But I guess it'd be a matter of getting used to it...
i liked the separation in the messages between deviations and messages (polls, journals, comments, etc.) When I don't have time to really be putting stuff up and commenting regularly on those I watch (the last year and a half basically T_T) I'm only really able to check those messages, and the fact that they're all lumped together including the massive number of deviations I need to look at I'm very very VERY confused
Yeah, I don't really like the new DA, but I suppose I'll get used to it. I never like when things change because you have to figure out how to do things again. I wish they could just leave how it works alone and make improvements from there, not just throw things into chaos for the sake of change or because they think it looks better a different way.
what the hell have they done to it now? it is truely awful im not liking the new look/layout/anything, why do they keep changing it and so often, doing my head in to be honest :-s
I wouldn't say perfect but I like it... and they seem to have fixed the most annoying bugs so I'm ok with it. It'll just take a while to get used to so there's no need to get all upset about this change.
It's just one of those things you have to get used to, I think. It's not shit, And I think it got cuter; however, I do miss the automatic full-view option.
