It is a question that often comes up, as there are many cases when poor artists' work is taken and published without their permission.
In my journey on deviantart I have encountered much art theft myself and fought against it towards victory.
However, many artists on here still fear art theft, put watermarks on their work, disable right clicking on their sites, and do other ridiculous elements of protecting their work against being taken.
Some even fear posting work online, because they fear it might get used somewhere!
Well, today your worries will be gone forever!
Since the delicious release of beta groups on deviantart, I have created an awesome group
Having many fans is one way to fight art theft, but what if you don't have thousands of fans to help out when your art is taken?
Join our group and share with us your tale of sadness and thievery!
We shall fight for your cause!
fights for justice and truth exposing and punishing art thieves everywhere!
educates the art community how to win cases against serious art thieves and keeps a listing of current art thieveries on DA from hilariously stubborn ones to serious cases.
We are the eyes of the community, protecting your work like an army.

Our group needs a wide variety of people from all nations- to help out those unfortunate artists who's work is taken by someone in another country.

People or machines?
Since December 10th, I've got 60 thousand extra views on me profile, but no actual jump in comments or favs.
Leave a boop if you're alive and if you found me recently via some means other than DA.
Heckin errors
I seem to be experiencing an absurd amount of errors on DA today.
Not sure if my firefox browser is responsible, but the upload button no longer works and I have to go through stash to submit anything.
Also, "browse popular 8 hours" page is no longer showing things for 8 hours, but instead "popular of all time".
Is there an explanation for this madness?
A billion Soviet Shmeckles/an improbable reference
People sometimes ask if my art was inspired by __________ , but often the answer is that it wasn't, because I've never seen/read ________ (due to me being far more immersed in Soviet novels than American pop culture).
Today I came across yet another fantastic improbability, an obscure/extremely rare Soviet Poster that seems to be exactly like the character "Stealy" out of Rick and Morty.
He's even called "Hapuga", which translates to "Stealy".
Evaluate it for yourself and see how many similarities you can find:
This is a perfect example of people having similar ideas spanning across completely different cultures/time.

well, I think this is a great idea, yet I could talk with you in private in regard to acts of thievery that got someone banned for reporting it and telling the thief what they thought of them, the thief remained on the site while the person whom reported the theft was banned permanently while they still had a 5 months subscription to DA and had done nothing except tell the thief that she despised & loathed thieves
